Introducing the Special Olympics Niagara Powerlifting Program. This program is dedicated to empowering adaptive athletes by providing them with a safe and inclusive environment to train and connect with others. Designed to support individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, including but not limited to Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder, this program fosters physical strength, personal growth, and social camaraderie.

The program runs throughout the year, offering sessions
every Monday and Wednesday from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Our comprehensive approach caters to the diverse needs of each athlete, accommodating those seeking recreational training as well as those aspiring to become competitive powerlifters.

Participation in this transformative program is available at a cost of
$60 per month, allowing individuals to access expert guidance, state-of-the-art facilities, and a supportive community committed to their success.

During the Special Olympics competitive season, which spans from September to May, we offer specialized competition training for those athletes eager to join
"Team Power & the Glory." These sessions take place on Sundays at 11 AM, starting mid-September. This additional training prepares athletes for various events, empowering them to showcase their abilities and strive for excellence.
